Frequently asked questions
Is temporary email safe?
It is safe for what it is designed for: throwaway sign-ups, testing, and reducing spam to your real inbox. It is not safe for anything you need to recover later, like banking or medical accounts, because inboxes are deleted permanently after they expire.
Why was my temporary email rejected by a website?
Some websites block known disposable-email domains at their own discretion — this is controlled by the destination site, not by us. Changing domains may help, but no service can guarantee every website will accept a disposable address.
Why can't I find my verification code?
Codes and confirmation/reset links are detected automatically and shown above the message body when found. If nothing was detected, check the full message body — detection is confidence-based and intentionally avoids guessing on ambiguous text.
Is my inbox private?
Your inbox address is a long, random string that functions as its own access credential. Nobody can browse or guess other inboxes. Still, do not use it for sensitive accounts.
How long does my inbox last?
By default, 30 minutes. You can extend it before it expires. Once expired, the inbox and every message in it are deleted and cannot be recovered.
